This is a comely passable dvd. The body is a genial guy and unhurried to obey to. There were some parts that I force the dvd would have palliate in greater detail. There is atleast one blunder on the dvd. The dvd states that both the Dp-02 and Dp-02cf contains a chromatic tuner, which is false, only the Dp-02 has a tuner. This is the only boob that I noticed but there could be more. Blanket it explains most functions of the 8-seek out well but is a bit over priced.

I got this video after purchasing a DP-02 from Guitar Center and not conspiratorial how to use it. I was skeptical about the DVD and first didn’t impecuniousness to pay $40 for something that would take up my values bright and early and not get me very far. Let me reasonable say it was well merit it, even if I had regurgitate $40. The chapters on mixing and mastering, and how to use with a computer are matchless. The guy who does it all is very aware and has a chill Australian mark. You also learn other tactics to recording which are not presently connected to the DP-02. It is a certain extent right paced to fit a lot in, but is prime for customary over until you get the cling to of everything (using buttons in run, auto slam, etc). This video did systematically what I needed and I’ve been using this recorder and making music with it for over a year now, and almost never had to look anywhere else for instruction. TASCAM says any idiot can use it out of the box. I’m not any idiot. I’ve inured to AMPEX 300 multi dog recorders since my days at CHESS Records in Chicago. I was beyond whelmed when I bought the TASCAM DP 02. I could not conformation it out! The enchiridion assumes that the client knows a LOT about digital recording. I don’t.

The DVD put it all in sort with a very savants walk through. I found out that it can do things magical that the guide doesn’t even hail.

If you’re gonna buy a TASCAM DP 02 or DP 02/CF, You gotta get the DVD even if you are savvy in digital recording....
