I looked at both of these speakers specs. At first it doesn't seem to be honourable to juxtapose a keynoter with an 8" woofer to one with a 10". But most of us will also look at payment and the 510 at a overcome expenditure of $1200 a set of two compares favorably to the K8 at $1300 in worth! The 510 has a 280rms amp, weighs 17LBS, max spl 121db. The K8 has about the same power, weighs 27LBS, max spl 127db. The JBL is amazingly lightweight while the K8 puts out an incredibly thundering achievement! I did audition the 510 and it blends certainly nicely with a subwoofer. With it's downgrade spl it will labour well at miniature to midsize events. Reports say that the K8 sounds amazingly proficient and doesn't overburden at all at ostentatious outputs. The people in the apartment were surprised that so much wise came out of such a inadequate spieler. So it's bald that the K8 will be qualified to helve larger events. An superiority that the 8 inch woofer has is that it will be qualified to hilt midrange bit bigger than a 10. It will shine less in the midrange frequencies. So for vocals the 8 inch is upper. I would call to mind a consider that if you can inducement a 17LB tub-thumper onto poles than you can do so with a 27LB tub-thumper. In my viewpoint speakers don't remarkably seem sad until they get to 40LBS. In my theory if you are always universal to use subs with your setup, all of the K Series speakers are merit purchasing over the new EON's. One take offence would be if you hold on the lightest lecturer. Perhaps you have back or knee problems and you have to take away lighter loads. This is the encase for many of us DJs over 40. Another baksheesh apropos bias is if you like to DJ individual and not use roadies. Load makes a nature when you have to go up stairs or effect paraphernalia in July fieriness! Another umbrage at is the EON 515. This 15 inch rendition on certificate seems to collide well against the K series. It's jolly at 33LBS. It has a more robust amp at 450rms and intoxication spl at 129db. This keynoter should initiate the deepest bass. If you are not wealthy to have subs in your system, this...
