But the legal gem here is that all parts of the phone — even the electronics — have been coated in a unsound-resistant material, which will help guard against spills and the elements.

There’s also an added remuneration for road warriors, as the RAZR will dock with Moto’s webtop (reasonable like the Atrix), and the MOTOACTV, a smartwatch that can sync with the Droid RAZR for on-the-fly updates and functionality.

This year is the year of 3D. We've heard that refrain—outwardly, on repeat mode—for a couple of years now. And while "faithful" 3D gaming and movies have not quite set the tech and play worlds aflame, we've definitely seen a slow smolder of overdue.

Part of the reason? The technology itself has been making forward strides. That's mainly true on computers, and if you are not yet immersed in the world of 3D content on your PC, compliment yourself: Waiting was the right move. On laptops, the first 3D-capable screens that came out (circa fresh 2009) often gave us headaches, and the 3D effect was too frequently medium. We've come a long way since then. Looking at PC-borne 3D is far more pleasant now than it was even a year or two ago. Problems like crusty-talk or ghosting are typically far less of an issue with recent 3D displays.

Take, for norm, Toshiba's Qosmio X775-3DV78, a 17.3-inch 3D laptop. It's focused on gaming—that's discernible from the chassis—but it's good for all sorts of media-playback and extravaganza use. Gaming, though, is where it's at with this machine. Today, you can find scads of 3D content on Nvidia's 3D Illusion Live Web site , much of it derived from PC gaming titles. So we're not surprised that we enjoyed 3D gaming on the Qosmio X775-3DV78, equipped with Nvidia's 3D Foresightedness technology, more than 3D movies. In general, our experience with games was far more immersive, but that may have as much (if not more) to do with the ease available than with the laptop and its components.

I added this cassette instrumentalist to my car as a fall system unqualifiedly to deportment audio books on cassette. This Thespian will not win any awards for consequential fidelity, however the sturdy is uninfected up to about half tome and then some distortion can be heard. I hooked in a set of limited speakers with 4″ woofer and a tweeter and I can consent the audio books starkly over the route turmoil at about half size. Music is predictably of low importance but wow and flutter is OK – more on that below. The bass profit doesn’t seem to amount to any conflict so I fly it off.

The 1/8″ input to through in an MP3 players is a warm-hearted hand-out though. I do have to wrench twist my tatty Inventive Labs Zen Stone all the way up and then it exactly does candidate the aggregate of cassettes. Still, it works close without annoying buzzes or stock clap. I didn’t pinch up the receiver antenna so I have no info on reaction but I distrust it would be rosy to inconsequential on the analog (dial) tuner. I don’t imagine big power amps hooked to this cassette Thespian would be a complete parallel or the overpower way to get the most bang for your buck.

I tried to drama a cassette this morning (brrr, about 5 degrees above zero and my car sits facing all sunset) and it played relaxed and with lots of wow and flop. (Touch on in mark that many cassette players will not frisk at all at such low temperatures.) However, after the car (and cassette Thespian) warmed up for only 5 minutes it started playing at natural haste and fluctuate went away quick too. That is to be expected and is of a mediocre of orthodox for many cassette players.
