Those customary with the multitalented pack of musicians that comprised Long Seaside's RX Bandits know the swarm of side projects each fellow has entertained over the years. Among them happens to be drummer Chris Tsagakis' solo drum hazard that melds both man and machine in a hail of creative, atmospheric beats.

For a few years, he performed under the moniker Technology. This year, he wised up and realized that the billions of Google references to that name made him a itty-bitty hard to find on the Internet. In the end, "C-Gak" — his longtime epithet — seemed more appropriate, and searchable.

Since the breakup of RX Bandits last July, C-Gak has turned his aural recreation into his main creative outlet, finding a well of new energy and inventive techniques to bring to the table. On Sunday, the Sargent Blood artist be performing with Brooklyn's highly touted significant experimentalists Battles at the Glasshouse in Pomona, the stage where RX Bandits played one of their last show fair-minded months earlier.

Beats by Dre and HTC have teamed up to create the creation first Beats Audio mobile phone improving on the ever-popular HTC Impression with the new HTC Sensation XE.

Hip-Hop brand extensions aren’t new. From clothing lines, lush and water based drinks to even video games and fragrances, it seems like every Stock Exchange has had a rapper plaster their name on a product. Now in the age of technology and social media, heroic producer and rapper Dr. Dre (NWA, The Chronic, Dre 2001) and Interscope administrator Jimmy Iovine teamed up with Monster Cable to create bonus consumer headphones branded Beats by Dre. These headphones took the in all respects by storm in 2008, being endorsed by music and even sports celebrities people-wide. But, of course, this is old news.

As we reported back in August, ( see article here )ambulant phone manufacturer HTC bought a majority share usefulness $300 million in the Beats brand and since then is ready to release the first mechanical devices with Beats Audio. Essentially what this means is that some new HTC devices will upon with Beats by Dre headphones / Ear-buds, and a special software Equaliser system that will intensify the audio output tailored specifically for these headsets. These EQ presets will boost the low end of your music while enhancing the crispness and understandability of the mid and high frequencies.

Exhausted Kangz, the social climber drum appliance maker out of Nashville, has been cooking up a new desire for some stretch. That beginning, the Mix Thang, is once nearing movie. It may not have a nameplate like Akai or Roland, but I can proclaim that this independently-designed creation may nonetheless be one to on the qui vive for.
