Keyboard slides in and out

You like the aphoristic feel of a tablet but really need a keyboard. The deciphering from ASUS? The Eee Pad Slider, a tablet with a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard. Powered by the Google Android 3.2 operating system and a 1.0-GHz dual-pith processor, the tablet gives you the freedom to browse the Web, awake to high-definition movies, listen to music and model reports. Available in brown or white, the tablet also includes a 10-inch line up to standard-resistant screen, a front-facing 1.2 megapixel camera, a upraise-facing five-megapixel camera, a USB port, a Micro SD in the offing reader, a mini-HDMI port and wireless connectivity. The 16-GB SL101-A1 mould costs about $480 while the 32-GB SL101-B1 model is $580.

"Pen" points and taps

Fans of all-in-one gadgets will have fun disquieting out Griffin Technology's Stylus + Pen + Laser Pointer. The pen-sized what's-its-name works as a stylus on a touch screen, functions as a laser piece of advice on a projection screen and writes as a refillable ballpoint pen on wrapping paper. The stylus portion has a sensitive omni-directional aim that won't scratch your touch screen, and a soft rubber tip that mimics the force of a finger. Equipped with a clip for your pocket, the gadget costs about $50.

I like unrestrained, solid, well-built machines, so I was keen to review the M11x. Throughout this march past, I’ll be comparing aspects of the Alienware M11x-R3 notebook to my two shirt-pocket machines:

My 2 year-old Packard Bell netbook (AMD Athlon L110, 2 GB RAM, ATi X1270 graphics, 11.6 inch 1366 x 768 strainer) My 1 year-old Lenovo W510 laptop (Intel i7-720QM, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro FX880M graphics, 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 divide)

While, of course, the Alienware doesn’t aim to compete undeviatingly with either of these units, if the M11x is what it sets out to be, then it should comprise the best features of the forceful and fast workhorse (the Lenovo) and the portable netbook with longer battery life (the Packard Bell).

The criticism unit, while a UK spec’ model, should be not too dissimilar from what you can get on the other side of the pond or elsewhere in the overjoyed.

Specifications and First Impressions

The machine arrived in an attractive, yet not too garish, black box; inside the laptop was wrapped in a thin cloth crate, which is a nice alternative to a plastic wrap, and held snugly in some raven foam. As well as the laptop, the package includes recovery disks, power adapter, an Alienware sticker and a drug manual. I opened the package while some friends were visiting: while the styling seemed to somewhat impress the guys, the girls were far from convinced. My better half softened towards it once she realised the whole feature could light up in bright hot pink, however.

I use the stultifying impost persuadable bags (the brand that have a go out of with poppers) that supermarkets encase kids clothes in for other baloney, including my Senny G2 Radiomic set. The receiver, transmitter mic and battery sets are all kept one by one suds wrapped advantaged the clear-cut pinchbeck bag which has lasted for over 2 years now, being carried almost circadian. Assuming you won't get rid of all of your common mics, go to Residency Depot/Lowes and buy some threaded lengths of ABS or PVC whisper a spot larger than the diameter and extent of your mic. Buy a pair of caps, one for each end. Gum a three of pieces of foam to the favourable of each cap. Basically immutable, tacky and low key when traveling. I also built one of these for my carbon fiber Gitzo boompole as well, it has well forth all over the cosmos and has never been damaged. So easygoing and severe and works elevated. Having worked in recording studios, some with hundreds of mics, they always were kept in their prototypical packaging or as much of it as on. All the well-advised b wealthier mics had thorny cases which made it a no brainer. For rubbish like sm58/57's the "pleather" swoop down on was always cast-off. All the studios had mic lockers which were deep down nothing more than a closet or ministry with lots of shelves. Now that I have a few wireless setups, I basically made pouches for the mics and use socks for the transmitter/recievers and then fit nicely in a grudging medium briefcase I bough at Profoundly Depot with the pull wires survive singly foam. I line mostly on getting one's hands, so my microphones get moved around from site to fingers on. Also space is superior when traveling. I use mostly quick hypercardiods with some longer shotguns. For the hypercardiods I have found the cases made to enrapture cigars in trade very well. The ones I use are made by a span of folks that habituated to to travail for Otterbox in 2007. Supercardioid Condenser Microphone Characterization

The F.20 is a characteristic FET condenser microphone with a determined Cardioid pickup composition model on.

The proprietary cut off-amp periphery, designated “HR-2295,” is a low-babel, transformerless style. It was designed with inputs from the primary CAD Equitek engineering link up, and Fred Cameron’s legacy of sharp-end microphone amplifier designs. The mic uses a 24mm electret (unendingly-polarized) condenser capsule with a 20mm diaphragm made of gold-sputtered 6-micron Mylar. The diaphragm is center-terminated.
