Tea partiers are all about the latter when they call for dramatically reducing spending; Keynesians dislike that because spending cuts are one of the two big no-nos during an economic downturn, but it’s a bona fide go to grapple with a universally-acknowledged problem.

You might think OWS would be interested in the other half of the equation, how to fashion jobs/growth, but that’s never a major theme in the scores of articles I’ve review about them. The major themes
