Savoir faire not necessary but, if you happen to have a little music, band, train or dance team experience, it couldn’t cut to the quick.

The Standish Guards Drum and Bugle Body of men is an all-age nonprofit marching arts program based in Plymouth.
It currently has eight members in its percussion entirety but is about to start winter rehearsals and will be adding new members with the plan of enhancing the percussion section and creating a brass part and color guard that meets the competitive requirements for a full corp.
Formed in 2009, by Dennis O’Neill, John Crimlisk, Mike Foshey, Nellie Kelley and Mark O’Melia, the Guard started by building a competitive drumline.
For the ago few years it has been active in winter competitions through the Bugler’s Assembly of Fame and in summer competitions through Drum Corps Associates, bewitching numerous gold and silver medals as an ensemble and as individuals.
