The in the most suitable way way to find them is to walk through campus and listen, said Western minor Cara Skillingstead, who is one of the co-founders of the group.
The Ring of Fire was created two years ago. Skillingstead and some friends were hanging out during Summerstart and talking about how poise it would be to have a drum circle in the Rock Rings sculpture behind the Academic Instructional Center.
Skillingstead said it started out as a couple of friends getting together on campus and jamming. At once after, they were getting so many new members they decided it was time to become an official sisterhood.

After the meeting, she gets an email or phone legions from the new member and adds it to her list. She uses the register to remind members when the drum circle is and let the group know where they will forgather each week.
