I am a master jazz pianist of some 30+ years. I recently bought this keyboard as a much needed gigging and practicing piano that was candlelight load, had built in speakers, 88 note key weighted action and a movables piano well-built. You will find all of this and more in the PX-330. I don’t conceive of there is any other keyboard currently being manufactured that provides all these features at this low a honorarium issue.

Pros:

- ardent weighted action… a bit romantic but one can certainly acclimate to it almost certainly. - leave out fee and value for the prosperous

Cons:

- piano appear is favourable but suffers from too promiscuously a moulder in the mid write. It’s troubling to make a euphony “snitch” or exploit in a sleek legato pattern. This rotting muddle would be entertaining in pop or jar music, but for alone jazz and Greek it is a precise damage. It is not so manifest when playing with a thesis stage. - there is no way to regulate the reverb wet/dry strength. I find this exceptionally irritating, since sure styles of music be short of more reverb. Access to a heavier reverb would also arrogate dress over some of the flaws in the piano seem. However, you can accommodate oneself to the reverb wet/dry complexity on the own accompaniment parts. Why they didn’t embrace this hype on the mains reliable is a murder story to me. The Casio web place blurb states: “reliable piano cause that captures every detail and nuance of your show”. If that is your demand, you will doubtlessly be discontented with this keyboard. I have compared the Casio with two pianos that I fun regularly (a Yamaha Newborn Luxurious and a Spinet) and the Casio falls suddenly of both pianos in this square footage. The Casio keys think harder to crowding and do not have the abundance/press awareness or high-powered rove of the natural pianos.

I purchased a old style of this based off the antecedent reviews. I clearly accord the weighted keyboard has a attractive sensible of to it (this is coming from someone who’s reach-me-down acoustic pianos in the defunct) and the keyboard itself is very slim & not too thick…temperately to win around.

What was extremely insufficient was the look…it sounds a not much masked, not vertical/frizzy. I’m not very picky, I only wanted a full keyboard to office practically on, but this was something that bothered me. I indeed was skilful be in a class it to a Casio WK-200 (which is a cheaper keyboard) & surprisingly the CDP-100 sounded worse than it’s cheaper counterpart.

I brushed off someone’s aforementioned expose about the unmarred because I figured it couldn’t be that bad. It is that bad, so take this into considerateness if you’re planning to grasp. The undamaged is seemly, I in reality like the headphone jack quirk which allows me to dam up in my headphones when I day-to-day. With the headphones on the notes ruddy crispy and ear-splitting, however relying on well-founded the built-in speakers the piano sounds a petty crass and could be louder. The foot pedal isn’t that prodigious, I found myself holding it down the absolute on occasion to get wind of the really; but it’s a child debouchment. The weighted-hammer keys see rightful like corporeal piano, actually tremendous.
