TWO of the hamlet’s hottest DJing talents have secured their place at the regional join in-offs in a national DJ competition with their sets of electro and indie music.

Kelly Clarkson, alias DJ Kelz, was the whole winner of the Swindon heat of the Movida Corona DJ tournament, which was held two weeks ago at Bushwackers, in Fleet Street.

She will now clash at Air Nightclub in Birmingham tomorrow, with the aim of making it to the national finals at the The cloth of Sound, in London, on October 18.

The DJ is no stranger to the competition having won through to the finals last year.

The 29-year-old, of Stratton , said: “It would be implausible to be crowned champion. After being so close last time I’m really pulling out the stops this year to win.”

Joining Kelly will be DJ Ryan Desty, who was blade-up in the Swindon heat. Ryan, 29, of West Swindon , DJs at Suju in Old Community . He wowed the judges with his set of electro house, new movement and sub bass music.
