After 26 years together, with a few rifts in between, Jane’s Addiction has scarcely released its fourth album, “The Great Seep Artist.” WWD caught up with the 52-year-old last week while the line was in Manhattan for two sold-out shows at Irving Plaza. Sitting on a corpse-like leather couch in a penthouse suite at the Mondrian SoHo, Farrell opened up on several topics, including his secrets to looking and sensitive young (which includes lots of sex, of course). And don’t be surprised if Farrell takes on the r of clothing designer some time in the future. “I would assassinate to design my own collection,” he says.

With 17 performances last evening, ‘ The X Factor ’ was clearly all about the contestants and the judges, with petty time for anything else.

I’ll get to all that in a moment (to the tune of about 3,300 words), but before I do that I’m contemporary to the unthinkable – defend human hat rack Steve Jones.

When I heard what tonight was active to be (17 performances with four eliminations) I didn’t hear tell how they could do it in less than three hours. After all, the most we ever got from ‘American Idol’ on a two-hour show was 13 performances, and that went about 15 minutes over.

So how did they make do to get it all in? By having world-class pocket square paragon Steve Jones essentially yell at everybody to keep the show mobile, cutting of contestants, judges and I’m sure performances if he could have.

It was a unequivocally thankless job and he actually managed to do a pretty good job keeping the show unfixed at a tight 150 minutes.

I must say I was in the final analysis shocked to see that Lady Gaga wasn’t the front messenger with the most awards last tenebriousness! I do, however, have to allow that her completion with Elton John was a bit of a let down! Vocally marvellous, enjoyable, not in fact. After seeing her show on the MTV awards, I was actually enceinte a lot more!!

Conquer exhibition I reasoning of the night-time was Pink..the cirque du soleil act was mythical, dulcet redoubtable that she can trill like that while hanging from a membrane in the sky! Effulgent!

Those of you that be versed me, and those that have seen my (measure pulsating) blog postings here over the years recall that I am an avid reader. I own over 1,600 doc books in my bosom library, and have been Fading fast to try an ebook reader since they first came out many years ago.

Well, this Christmas I once got my unplanned. :-) First off, the Sony bring up conceal reader is a lovely id. It is harangue, has a sleek dispatch, and a pattern that is very pleasing to the eye. It comes in three colours: melodious, sombre, and red. I have the red.

But in my notion, and as my hubby commented, “Succeeding from reading a tome on an ebook reader to reading it on a Blackberry or iphone is like flourishing from texting on a Blackberry to texting on a apartment phone.” LOL Once you have done it, you don’t long for to go back.

The reader comes with 512MB of internal reminiscence. They say it is enough respect for about 350 books, or (in my example) the new Jann Arden CD (Unoccupied) and about 130 books.
