Help with vocal music auditions at Laguardia High School?

I'm auditioning for Vocal Music and Dramaturgy. I have my monologues ready, but I need a song. Also, the say on their website that you have to tattle back melodies that they play you. What do they mean by that? What kind of melodies?
I'm a saprano.

ive never heard of that private school, but i live in Australia, where i go to a selective Music School.
for my audition, i had to do a predisposed piece on my first preference instrument, do a sightreading piece, disport oneself some basic scales

Adele undergoes vocal chord surgery at Massachusetts hospital

The choirboy has had to cancel tour dates and promotional appearances for the year because of the end. A spokesperson for Massachusetts General Hospital told the Associated News-hounds that the British songstress underwent vocal cord microsurgery to break recurrent bleeding from a benign polyp. The condition is all things considered the result of unstable blood vessels in the vocal cord that can break-up.

Adam Lambert Lends Voice to Queen for MTV Europe Music Awards Performance

Classic Album – Dire Straits – Brothers In Arms – Review ...

This album is in my notion the absolute Dire Straits album, and absolutely in all likelihood one of the defining albums of the 1980’s full terminate (It was one of the first to be directed at the CD make available and fully digitally recorded when most still second-hand analog materiel).
