External industrialist Logitech has released a uninhabited app that lets you constitutional your iPhone or iPod close to (or indubitably even your iPad, if you're Stephen Colbert) into a wireless mouse and keyboard. The unimpeded TouchMouse app [ iTunes Tie-up ] is nonpareil for those situations where you've connected your Mac to a TV and inadequacy a way to control it from the comfy confines of your favorite tete-.
I got this a day or so after it came out and I have to say it works brilliantly. No issues with the server software at all and the program on the iphone works devoted. It supports a restricted amount of multitouch, i.e. two vanish scrolling and is VERY self-indulgently and open, so very satisfied with this. Would be gripping to see if they prolong it with some media buttons as that would lift it no end. Utilized on a 3G S.
@ChrisF I've had no problems, but have you tried using something like amnesia to rub out the app and it's library files, then reinstall?

The server position, while modest, is a kludge.
I'd rather go the VNC course. Mocha VNC Lite has a full divide keyboard button, and it appears the pay account has a full wall off mouse button. I'm trusty there's other VNC apps that care for the same keyboard & mouse functionality, and heave in the video as an additional compensation over Logitech's app.
It's a moment ago easier, and less to about to update if you barely verification a box in Preferences to bend on apple's built in VNC rather than download a specialized server from a 3rd social gathering.
