I am setting up a guitar effects pedalboard and I'm interested in the "Chorus" effect for rock. What is it?
I like model rock. When chorus came up I never like it, but I'm setting up all these other pedals (aspect shifter, fuzz, overdrive, delay, compressor) so I surprise if I need a chorus to make my effects pedalboard complete. Also, is chorus almost identical
Chorus and flange are both modulation effects. Chorus is habitually used to get a bit of "sparkle" on clean sounds and stipulate a bit of depth. Turn up the rate too far and you get a "swirl" species of effect. Flange is very similar
